Window Shopping Spotlight

As a self-proclaimed “thriftier” I can relate to the craving of wanting to go thrift shopping. The anticipation of what treasures you might find. The excitement of finding something you’ve needed but didn’t want to pay full price for. And if you’re a Red Door shopper the joy and comfort of familiar friendly faces. 

Unfortunately, because of COVID, we haven’t been able to fulfill that craving. TRD (The Red Door) shut it’s doors with no reopening date in sight. Nonetheless TRD is still in business and you can find great deals shopping our windows! 

Everything* in the front showroom is available to purchase through our Window Shopping operation. To window shop with TRD you’ll need to come down to our store at the corner of 7th & O Ave. and see what’s available for sale that day. If you find something you just love & want to purchase, you can reach out to us by email at reddoorthriftanacortes@gmail.com or through our Facebook page. Please include in your message a description of the item(s) you’d like to purchase and an email address where you would like us to send an invoice. Through our invoicing system, you can securely pay for the items you’d like to purchase. Once your invoice is paid you can reach out to us to schedule a no contact pick up.

We know “Window Shopping” doesn’t necessarily fill the treasure hunting craving of never knowing what you’ll find, so we’ve decided to offer treasure sacks. Treasure sacks are an assortment of fun items found in thrift stores that could include knick knacks, kitchen items, books, art, craft supplies, CDs/DVDs, jewelry, buttons, a Red Door credit**,etc. Honestly the possibilities are endless! Unless stated these treasure sacks will NOT contain clothing, but could contain accessories such as gloves, scarves, cozy socks, and hats.  You will not be able to see the contents of the bag until you pick it up, but rest assure, we are putting a lot of thought into what’s in there and trying our best to make them exciting! And of course the value of contents will exceed the price.
